There is not really a lot I can say in this situation as I can not even begin to understand what Maddie's parents are going through.I am hurt by the fact that her parents have been acused of neglect because they left their children un-attended. can people not see the pain in their eyes?! unless you can relate to what Kate and Jerry are going through how can you make judgment? isn't the most important thing at present is to find maddie?

I see the yellow ribbon of hope everywhere I go. on black taxi's, in women's hair, tied to children's prams and school bags... it sadens me because it's a constant reminder of what happened but at the same time it fills my heart with joy to see all these people from different walks of life praying for the same thing. For we all want Maddie to be with her family, where she belongs.

The news of the letter was horrible. I hope with all my heart that it is untrue and that Maddie is still alive. We all want closure to this horrible incident but not like this.

Maddie, wherever you are the whole world is thinking of you. May no harm come to you.

We must never, ever give up hope...

My heart bleeds for the parents and maddie. I am a parent of two children and i have no right to judge her parents. We all say we would never leave our children alone but i am sure we have and will still continue to in the future. Whether Maddie is alive or dead God will be with her and watching over her and the persons or person responsible will have to meet his maker at the end of his time and i can tell you his maker is not our lord. He will have an eternity of hell. All my love and thoughts go out to maddie and her family.

PLEASE i am sick of hearing 'I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO MY CHILD' do u honestly think these parents would have if they could read ahead.At the end of the day the parents are the ones who have lost this beautiful little girl, and probably they are on auto pilot and just don't know where to go or what to do.So we are the strong ones out here to help these parents in a positive way,and i am sorry but if you can't do this and just want to critise you are the one who needs to get a life.Whether this baby was taken from a shop, a beach or her apartment she is still missing and someone is responsible.And anyone who still wants to blame the parents, just think back to the JAMIE BULGER case was that the parents fault for looking after him in the shopping mall.( No dis-respect to the parent but putting my point across to people who haven't got a clue never mind kids.

Having seen the parents been interviewed on sky, it has only reaffirmed my gutt feeling, that the parents know more than they are letting on, any parent, (i know people can block emotions) but not continually, i am a dad, and know when it comes to our children, i dont care how hard you are inside, you will show, emotion, but when you hide emotions, it also suggests you are holding, and hiding more than you protray, there is no sincerity from either parent, and the picture they are trying to paint to the world, and we have seen it before, look closer madeline i beleive is closer that people think, and look closer to the parents, they do have the answers, is this little angel alive? i sadly think not, i do hope she is smiling in heaven, as thats were all angels rest

Who ever has taken this little girl is sick and twisted.
What could lead someone to harm a poor little girl, if she was found murdered who ever murdered who should be murdered. All her parents wanted was a nice and relaxing holiday but some sick person(s) made it a parents worst nightmare. Madeleine couldn't have hurt someone so why should someone take her or hurt!
Personally, who ever has her she return her home where she can be safe.

Madeline mccann looks so pretty how can anyone look to her and take her away from her family surely people like CSI could track her down with all their great technolagy they have? i hope she is returned safely to her mother. i had a dream that i was watching the news and there was footage of her running up to her mother her mother doing the same crying happy tears and the little banner said 'Madeline mccann re-united with her mother after 127 days' i just wish so bad that that would happen. i think the people that took her are so evil and WHY HAVENT THEY BEEN FOUND WITH HER YET the police have no leads! why!!??? i wish i could be a police officer on that search id try everything...unfortunatly i am only a 14 yr old girl in england who can only hope and pray that she is well alive and close to being found.

I'm sitting here crying, just looked at the missing maddie site and have read your comments. It breaks my heart to think that a little girl so small and defenceless can be taken away. it makes me really angry to think that someone thinks they have the right to take someones child, this child was carried for nine months in her mothers womb, she was lovingly looked after, fed, sung to sleep and cradled in her family's arms and someone comes along and snatches that away. I know the family were wrong to leave her, It's something i would never do, but now is not the time to blame, I just pray and pray that she comes home and if not then please don't let her be suffering, let her be in heaven away from the badness in this world.

Even if it comes to light the parents do not know anything more than they are letting on, why on earth did they leave three children alone in the apartment in the first place? Ohhh great now the ever incompetent porto police have decided that they are both guilty. What? On what grounds? Ohhhh I get it, they cant find who done it so the parents must be guilty. Ahhhh now I see it all clearly, so thats how the porto police work is it?
They the porto police could not find there assess with both hands with there pants down to there ankles.
They the parents are NOT guilty. I've been woundering if the police in Porchacal have investigated those who rented the rent a car before the mother rented it? Some of them could have abducted the child and done here harm and used the rent a car to dispose of her body leaving the blood stains in the trunk.

first, they leave three kids under the age of four in an apartment, in a foreign country, all by themselves to go out and party with friends down the street. (unforgiveable) then, a child predator just happens to hit the jackpot and find three little children under four in a random apartment that may or may not have been locked that just happens to contain three sleeping children and 0 adults. (because they were having a good time down the street) so the predator has all day to tip toe around the apartment and do whatever it is that predators do. then, the child predator takes just one, let me repeat that, just one, of the three unguarded, unsupervised children that he\she just happened to stumble upon. after that, the predator gets away scott free. no one saw or heard anything? the predator didnt leave any trace of his\her crime? no witnesses, no evidence nothing. sorry, dont believe it.

I agree with Ron to a extent. I think if they thought the children where sedated and a possible overdose occured in Madeline, why didn't they test the twins for sedatives? I think the police there are trying to cover the many mistakes they made in the begining and just want a easy way out. Obviously this is just my opinion on this and everyone has thier own, but If (big if) the parents were responsible for this they should just end this and fess up. Whoever has her or knows where she is should simply make an annyomus call and and give the family some piece of mind. If she is not alive, as hard as it would be at least they would know where thier angel is.

Little maddie is on my mind all the time. I do not understand if the poor little thing is still alive, why has no one heard her. I have a four year old grandson and believe me at that age they are very vocal, maddies should be crying and asking for her mummy, and surely with all the publicity a small child creating a fuss in ENGLISH should stick out ;ike a sore thumb. I cannot begin to understand how the parents feel, but as i am a nan myself and my grandkids are the heart oif me i feel for her grandparents. I hope for everyones sake this little innocent child is found safe but in my heart of hearts i cannot see this happening at this stage.

:mad: i cant believe everyone dont see that this girls parents are guilty just like in the case of jon benet ramsey. I dont know if they will ever be put to justice but it seems pretty obvious to me that even if they did not do it ......its their fault. You dont leave any child that age by themselves and furthermore them doing that shows that they dont care too much about their children. I say why havent they already been charged with child neglect for the other two children being left unattended. So sad some people should not be allowed to have children at all. I will be glad when the truth comes out and these two get what they deserve....... i just hope this does not turn out to be the same as the ramsey case. Someone needs to pay for this terrible crime
